In November 2009, the long awaited building works to the Front Façade of the Albanian Australian Islamic Society’s Mosque was initiated.
Although much of the overall work involved with the AAIS ‘Building and Renovation Project’ has already been completed, the Front Façade was a very important phase of the project for both a number of practical reasons, as well as the fact that it is also going to be one of the most visible stages of the whole Building and Renovation Project.
The Executive Committee of the Albanian Australian Islamic Society (AAIS) commenced in November 2003. There have been many improvements made to date and Insha-Allah there will be many more to come when the project is fully completed, therefore we recommend all financial members to view the plans for this large scale project.
In January 2001, after a special hearing that was held in the evening at the City of Yarra Council in Richmond Town Hall, the Committee Board of the Albanian Australian Islamic Society (AAIS) was finally granted the approval for its application towards the much needed ‘Building and Renovation Works’
