Bajram Day & Prayers
• Fitr Bajram will be on Thursday, 13 May 2021
• The Morning Prayer (Fajr) will be held at 6:30am
• The Bajram prayer will be held at 8.00am
Bajram Prayer Venues
Due to Government restrictions, the Albanian Australian Islamic Society (AAIS) will be holding the Fajr and Bajram Prayers at both of our facilities below:
1. AAIS Mosque – Carlton North - Imam Perparim Sulaj - Open from 5:30am
2. AAIS Youth Centre* – Truganina (*Members only facility) - Imam Besar Mustafi - Open from 5:30am
🚗 Please park legally when attending either of the AAIS Facilities and bring a prayer mat if praying at the Youth Centre.
Bajram Morning Schedule
6:30am: Fajr Prayer
Islamic Talk (Shqip) Nasheed
Islamic Talk (English)
8:00am: Bajram Prayer
Zakat ul Fitr
Zakat-ul-Fitr (donated before Bajram prayer) is $15 per family member (irrespective of age). This will be distributed via Human Appeal International to the needy in Albanian Lands.
Mosque Renovation Collection
The Committee will be collecting donations for the upcoming AAIS Mosque Rear Courtyard and Wudu area construction which will commence shortly. Please donate generously and also renew your AAIS membership if you are yet to do so.
Youth Centre
Please be advised that the Youth Centre is closed on Friday 14th of May, but will reopen on Thursday 20th of May as usual.
