On Sunday 1 March 2020, the ICV - Islamic Council of Victoria Office for Women hosted a High Tea in celebration of International Women's Day.
Four (4) members of the Albanian Australian Islamic Society (AAIS) Women's Committee attended the event which was held at ICV in the afternoon. Member of the AAIS Youth Group, Iman Balla was also honoured to be the MC of the event.
The afternoon was filled with speeches including a speech by Maria Dimopoulos (Vice Chairperson of the Victorian Multicultural Commission) as well as a presentation of the Journey to Jerusalem by ladies of the Multi-faith community.
The afternoon ended with refreshments and a chance to mingle with other women from various community groups.
Insha-Allah, the AAIS will continue to support these events in the future.

GOSTIA E ICV – DITA NDËRKOMBËTARE E GRAVE
Të Dielën më 1 Mars 2020, Zyra e Këshillit Islamik të Gruas të Victorias (ICV) priti me një gosti në festimin e Ditës Ndërkombëtare të Grave.
Katër (4) anëtare të Këshillit të Gruas të Shoqatës Islamike Shqiptare Australiane (AAIS) morën pjesë në evenimentin që u mbajt pasdite në ICV. Anëtari i Grupit Rinor AAIS, Iman Balla gjithashtu u nderua të ishte prezantuesja e evenimentit.
Pasditja pati shumë fjalime duke përfshirë dhe një fjalim nga Maria Dimopoulos (Nënkryetare e Komisionit Multikulturor të Viktorias) si dhe një prezantim të Udhëtimit në Jeruzalem nga zonja të komunitetit Ndër-fetarë.
Pasditja u mbyll me pije freskuese dhe ishte një shans për tu bashkuar me gra të tjera nga grupe të ndryshme të komuniteteve. InshaAllah, AAIS do të vazhdojë t'i mbështesë këto evenimente edhe në të ardhmen.
