The Committee Board of the Albanian Australian Islamic Society (AAIS) organised a meeting on Sunday 3rd March 2013, which was attended by ninety-nine (99) Financial Members, to inspect the brand new premises that was selected by the AAIS Committee Board for the purpose of opening a Youth Centre and to discuss the potential purchase of the property.
As members of the AAIS arrived at the meeting, they were handed a ‘Concept Document’ for the proposed AAIS Youth Centre that detailed some of the planned services that the Youth Centre would provide to AAIS members.
The meeting, which was scheduled at 10:30am, began with a tour and inspection of the property by AAIS Financial Members.
Once the tour of the site was completed, the meeting was then officially opened with a speech by AAIS President Vahid Goga, the essence of which captured and communicated the Committee’s vision for the proposed Youth Centre, whilst also emphasising the importance such a facility encompasses in securing the future prosperity of our Society and assisting our community in preserving our Albanian Muslim identity.
The message was further reinforced by Imam Dr. Bekim Hasani, as he addressed financial members highlighting the significance and potential benefits that such a centre has to impart upon contributing financial members and their families.
At the conclusion of speeches, AAIS financial members were invited to ask questions relating to the AAIS Committee Board’s plan to purchase and establish the AAIS Youth Centre, before a request for their support was sought to initiate the project.
The support received from financial members was not only captured through a unanimous show of hands, but also through the pledges of financial support which totalled a healthy $163,500 on the day.
After the total amount of pledges was announced, Br. Vahid Goga stated that he would convene a special meeting with the Committee Board to formally make a final decision on the purchase of the property and promptly communicate the Board’s decision to all AAIS financial members.
The meeting was closed with everyone in attendance feeling very positive about the outcome of the meeting.

REZULTATI I MBLEDHJES - QENDRA RINORE E AAIS-it
Këshilli i Shoqatës Islamike Shqiptare Australiane (AAIS) organizoi një takim të dielën më 3 Mars 2013, në të cilën morën pjesë nëntëdhjetë e nëntë (99) anëtar financiar, për të inspektuar ndërtesën e re që u përzgjodh nga këshilli i AAIS-it dhe për të diskutuar blerjen e saj e cila do të përdoret si Qendre Rinore.
Pas arritjes së anëtarëve të AAIS-it tek objekti, atyre ju dorzua një ‘Koncept Dokument’ për Qendrën Rinore i detajuar me disa prej shërbimeve të planifikuara që do të ofroj Qendra Rinore për anëtarët e AAIS-it.
Takimi, i cili ishte planifikuar në orën 10:30 (paradite), filloi me një vizitë dhe inspektim të ndërtesës nga anëtarët financiar të AAIS-it.
Pas vizitës dhe verifikimit të objektit, takimi u hap zyrtarisht me një fjalim nga kryetari i AAIS-it Vahid Goga i cili foli për vizionin e këshillit të AAIS-it për Qendrën Rinore si dhe për rëndësinë e saj për të ardhmen e komunitetit në ruajtjen e identitetit tonë Shqiptar Musliman.
Mesazhi u përforcua edhe më tej nga Imami Dr. Bekim Hasani i cili iu drejtua anëtarëve financiar dhe theksoj rëndësinë dhe përfitimet e mundshme që kjo qendër mund ti ofroj anëtarëve financiar dhe familjeve të tyre.
Pas përfundimit të fjalimeve, anëtarët financiar të AAIS-it ishin të ftuar për të bërë pyetje në lidhje me planin e këshillit të AAIS-it për blerjen dhe formimin e Qendrës Rinore, dhe pastaj u kërkua mbështetja e tyre për inicimin e projektit.
Mbështetja e marrë nga anëtarët financiar nuk ishte vetëm nëpërmjet ngritjes së duarve që ishte njëzëri, por edhe përmes premtimeve financiare që arriti një shumë prej $163,500 dollar në at ditë.
Vahid Goga pastaj deklaroj se ai do të thërrasë një takim të veçantë me Këshillin e AAIS-it për të marrë një vendim përfundimtar mbi blerjen e objektit dhe menjëherë të komunikojë vendimin e Këshillit të gjithë anëtarëve financiar të AAIS-it.
Takimi u mbyll me një pozitivitet të madh nga të gjithë të pranishmit në lidhje me rezultatin e takimit.
Këshilli i AAIS-it falënderon sinqerisht të gjithë anëtarët financiar të AAIS-it për pjesëmarrjen dhe mbështetjen e tyre në këtë takim të rëndësishëm.
